Amtrak has three classes of sleeping compartments on the Southwest Chief. In size they range from the Roomette, to the Bedroom, to the Family Bedroom. Only the mid-size Superliner Bedroom has a private bathroom, shower and toilet in the compartment. The Family and the Roomette compartments share showers and toilet facilities with others.
